Most families I work with see meaningful progress within about 4–6 sessions. After reaching initial goals, many families choose to return for 2–6 additional sessions to support ongoing breastfeeding or bottle-feeding as solids are introduced, or to navigate new developmental milestones. Families who consistently practice at home typically see steady progress—feeding changes can be tough work! If your baby reaches a plateau or needs more specialized support, I may recommend collaborating with or referring to another provider to ensure your family gets the exact care you need.
-
At your first visit, we’ll start with a thorough review of your baby’s medical history and assess oral motor skills, feeding abilities, posture, body tension, and coordination. If you’re breastfeeding/ lactating, we’ll also review your own medical history, evaluate your milk supply, and complete a breast assessment. We’ll begin intervention immediately, practicing evidence-based strategies together during the session. By the next day, you’ll receive a detailed care plan and customized home exercise program—including helpful notes, photos, videos, and resources—so you feel fully supported moving forward.

IBCLC stands for International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, recognized as the gold standard credential in lactation care due to the rigorous clinical training, extensive breastfeeding education, and demanding certification exam required by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE). As an IBCLC, I use my specialized training and experience to assess complex breastfeeding and lactation situations. My holistic, evidence-based approach allows me to understand the unique relationship between you and your baby, identify root causes of feeding issues, and create customized solutions that support your feeding goals.
-
Infant feeding therapy is specialized support provided by an occupational therapist (OT) or speech-language pathologist (SLP) with advanced training in infant feeding. As an OT with extensive infant feeding training, I partner closely with your family to uncover the underlying reasons for your baby’s feeding challenges. My approach is holistic, addressing breastfeeding, bottle feeding, alternative feeding methods, and introducing solids. Together, we’ll create an individualized plan to make feeding easier, less stressful, and more enjoyable for both you and your baby.
-
Occupational therapy (OT) helps people participate successfully in meaningful everyday activities, known as “occupations.” As an OT specializing in infants, maternal health, and the parent-child dyad, I support families in complex daily routines like breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, play, and bonding—activities known as “co-occupations,” since they involve interactive participation from both parent and baby. My holistic, head-to-toe approach includes comprehensive evaluations, individualized care plans, and ongoing guidance, empowering your family to thrive during pregnancy, postpartum, and your baby’s developmental journey.

As a mom, occupational therapist, lactation, breastfeeding, and infant feeding specialist, I understand that feeding your baby can be deeply personal—and sometimes unexpectedly hard. Through individually tailored support, Milk Stories addresses everything from tongue ties, latch pain, and bottle refusal to body tension, sensory regulation, and just plain overwhelm. Whether you’re navigating low supply, nursing after a tongue tie release, or just feeling “touched out,” I understand that helping families improve feeding function and connection—at the breast, bottle, or pump—involves holding space for the emotions that come with it all. With a background in maternal mental health and infant development, I bring a holistic lens to every session, focusing on both baby’s needs and your wellbeing. You deserve support that sees the whole picture—body, mind and heart. I am honored to be part of your Milk story, however it unfolds.
