Lactation Support with Milk Stories
Lactation support at Milk Stories meets you where you are: in pregnancy, in the first days of life, through every adjustment that comes after, and all the way through weaning. We start prenatally when possible, using your individual history to anticipate the challenges most likely to come up for you and your baby. Then we follow up in the rapid-change days after birth, fine-tune as your supply and your baby's needs evolve, and stay with you through return to work, weaning, and every transition in between.
We're a dual-credentialed IBCLC and OT practice, which means we bring both lactation expertise and a full-body understanding of how you and your baby's anatomy, oral motor patterns, and nervous system shape what's happening at the breast or with the pump. That dual lens is what lets us look past the symptom (pain, low transfer, slow weight gain, supply concerns) to the underlying cause, and build a plan that addresses the real issue.
Breastfeeding and pumping are some of the most physical, intimate, and emotionally loaded things you do with your baby. We treat them that way: as shared work between two people, with you as the expert in your body and your baby. Every plan addresses the physiological work of feeding (latch, transfer, supply, comfort for both of you) alongside the daily reality of integrating that work into your family's life. If your goals change, our plan can too. We support you wherever you are and wherever you want to go.
