Maternal Health with Milk Stories
Becoming a mother changes everything: your body, your sleep, your sense of self, your relationships, the way you move through your day. We support this whole transition, called matrescence, with the same clinical depth and integrated care we bring to your baby. That means addressing the physical (postpartum recovery, body strain, exhaustion) alongside the emotional (anxiety, identity shifts, sensory overload, the feeling of being touched out), because none of it happens in isolation.
Maternal health support is about you. We start with what matters most: what you're missing, what's getting in the way of being the person and parent you want to be, what would help you actually live the life you have right now. Every plan is built around your goals, your time, and what's doable in your day-to-day.
We're a dual-credentialed IBCLC and OT practice with additional certification in perinatal mental health (PMH-C). That combination is what lets us address maternal health as an integrated whole: your postpartum recovery, your sleep, your stress, your sense of self, and how all of it connects with what's happening with your baby. We look at the whole picture.
